Glynneath having taken the spoils at Birchgrove on Saturday saw the changed visitors side gain revenge in an exciting encounter.It was end to end stuff Sam Evans breaking the deadlock with a penalty for Birchgrove, they nearly increased their lead when a clever kick ahead just saw the ball go dead before touchdown.A driving run by Glynneaths Adam Nation took Glynneath deep into the visitors 22 only to be denied a score . Glynneath on the attack again saw the ball dropped and quickly snapped up by wing Evans who raced away for a try . Sam Evans converting.Dylan Francis pulled three points back for Glynneath. They were on the scoreboard again when some great inter passing took them up to the visitors line and scrum half Dalton Brown sneaked over on the blind side for a try .Dylan Francis adding the points to put his side level.Birchgrove soon regained the lead when their number 8 took a slick pass to go over at the posts,Sam Evans converting.From the restart after the interval Glynneath were stunned by two quick converted tries.Scott Gibson racing away unopposed after a clever cross kick .Evans converting.Another converted try minutes later put the visitors in control.At 10-31 down it looked like a lost cause but Glynneath incredibly fought back to within a score after powerful driving mauls to which Birchgrove were helpless to stop and it resulted in tries by Calim Bowen and two by Craig Tennant , all going unconverted from the touchline . Glynneath then nearly produced the unthinkable when looking to set up another drive to the line which surely would have produced another score saw them penalised allowing the visitors to clear their lines and hang on for the win . full time Glynneath 25 Birchgrove 31
