If the last home game provided drama this game went one step further in an incredible entertaining game where Glynneath threw away what looked like an unassailable lead.An early Glynneath attack spearheaded by Craig Tennant who’s downfield burst saw his pass fail to go to hand .It was the visitors who took the lead with a Rhodri Davies penalty and they increased their lead when a charge down kick saw Andrew Phillips gather and race away for a try , Davies converting.Glynneath replied from the restart when after a patient build up second row Jonathan Griffiths spotted a gap and ran 22 metres to the posts, Dylan Francis converting. After Glynneath were camped on the Nantyffyllon line their defence finally cracked and prop Gareth Hall got the touchdown. Francis adding the extras. When Glynneath let a high ball bounce and when it looked like it was putting Glynneath in trouble the ball fell kindly to put Alex Burton away for a run to the line .Dylan Francis converting. It was Barbarian style rugby being played by both sides with some passes going astray and when the viewer guilty of a loose pass it was snapped up by Aled Evans take a looped pass to run in a try from 60 metres.Again Dylan Francis converting well .Another great piece of rugby saw Jayden Burton glide over. Francis converting.Nantyffyllon stemmed the tide when they crossed for their second try Ross Boast scoring .Rhodri Davies converting.Nantyffyllon came right back in the game when a fluent passing movement backed up by some great support play Cameron Jones finish .Rhodri Davies who also brought his kicking boots converting.Glynneath came back again and after a sidestepping run by Dalton Brown was held up the short recycled possession saw Connor McMenamin go over .Dylan Francis converting to make it 42-24 over or so we thought and interception try by Joe Hass converted by Davies made it interesting. When Dylan Francis fired over a penalty in a faultless kicking display it was just as well that Glynneath opted for the three points as the visitors came back with a try and conversion by Hass and Davies which was followed in dramatic fashion when Ross Boast finished off a move which started in their own 22 .All on the conversion and Rhodri Davies kept his nerve to put his side level on the final whistle!!!! Full time Glynneath 45 Nantyffyllon 45
