Glynneath eventually ran out convincing winners ,gaining a bonus point victory after a penalty riddled first half played in freezing blustery conditions. It was Brynamman who had the chance to score first but a Joseph Davies penalty sailed wide of the upright .One exciting period of play came when Glynneaths Dalton Brown’s side stepping run carved open the home defence but there was no support to carry on the move . As the half was drawing to a close the game came alive when some slick passing put wing Joe Hughes away and his pace put him clear to the corner which was unconverted.Early in the second half Joseph Davies fired over a penalty for the home side. A powerful forward drive saw Charlie Randell getting the touchdown for the visitors to increase their lead and they went further ahead when a jinking run by Jack O’Reilly saw him cross for a great individual score . O’Reilly firing over the extras . Glynneath were well on top and further tries by James Parry and Dylan Francis , with Dalton Brown kicking a superb touch line conversion.
