A game played in monsoon conditions turned out to be an entertaining encounter.In the reverse fixture at the start of the season Glynneath staged an incredible comeback from being 37-10 down at half time to run out 37-41 winners.The home side showed their intentions from the start when they demolished the visitors scrum at the first set piece. Glynneath took an early lead when hooker Craig Tennant was driven over the line by his pack .Jack O’Reilly adding the conversion .After a series of scrums on the Kenfig Hill line the referees patience ran out and he awarded the seven point penalty try. Jack O’Reillys intelligent line kicking kept the visitors pinned in their 22 .Stuart Leach picking up from the base of the scrum saw Ben Jones finding James Roberts wide out and the winger went on a run that left defenders in his wake on the way to the line .Jack O’Reilly adding the extras . Craig Tennant scores his second try of the game powering over for the bonus point. Glynneath were on top throughout the game and when the visitors finally had a foothold in the Glynneath 22 the home defence held firm keeping their line intact .They added a further try when Ben Jones sneaked over for the fifth try of the game.
