A backlog of fixtures has seen games coming thick and fast and Glynneath weakened by injuries and unavailability came away from the Brewery Field with a fantastic win . It was the home side that took the lead ten minutes into the game when wing Lockie Barran cut through some poor tackling for a try . Converted by Aled Thomas.Glynneath came back with a Dylan Francis penalty and on their return to the Bridgend 22 Francis added another successful effort.Glynneath enjoying a bit more possession as the game went on and when awarded another penalty they elected to go for touch and from the line out a driving maul saw Arwel Davies get the touchdown.Glynneath looking to attack again saw a pass dropped in midfield and it was snapped up by Ieuan Evans who raced away for a score which was converted by Aled Thomas. This was end to end stuff and Glynneath hit back immediately when a neat piece of play by Calim Bowen saw the ball find scrum half Dalton Brown who left the home defence for dead as he raced away to the line. The referee missed a piece of foul play at the maul by the home number eight which resulted in a wrestling match on the floor and the home side took advantage to race down the other end of the pitch for a try by McKenzie Grey to touch down much to the annoyance of the Glynneath coaches and supporters. When Dylan Francis fired over his third penalty it looked like a draw was inevitable but after great work by hooker Craig Tennant and the rest of his pack Dalton Brown went over for his second try of the game to secure a well deserved victory.
