A game ,where both sides were eager to run the ball made it such an entertaining encounter. Incredible defence by the visitors prevented an early score as Glynneath pounded their line and could only come away with a Dylan Francis penalty for their efforts . Nantyffyllon had two chances to go level but both penalty efforts failed to find their target.They did pull three points back midway through the first half and even though it was end to end stuff with Glynneath having to do some defending of their own the rest of the half failed to produce a score . An incredible start to the second half saw Glynneath stun the visitors when Nantyffyllon saw a handling error from the restart put Glynneath in a great attacking position saw Craig Tennant power over after some slick handling by Glynneath.Dylan Francis converting.Glynneath looked certain to score a second try but a deliberate knock on by Nantyffyllon saw them denied and a resulting yellow card for the visitors .Not having been on the field long , scrum half Scott Hawkins taking a quick tap penalty caught the Nantyffyllon defence cold to go over for a try and extend his sides lead.Nantyffyllon came back with an incredible score , their prop Keiren Griffiths side stepping his way over from 30 metres , Tadhg Mcguckin converting.
