Glynneath’s excellent season keeps rolling on with an emphatic win over Tondu.The home side fell behind to a Tom Harris penalty but soon took control of the game with backs and forwards combining with a great display of support play and when a few try scoring chances went begging the score soon came when a great break by Joe Williams found Brogan Lloyd in support who raced away to the line ,Jack O’Reilly’s conversion falling just short.Glynneath came back again at the visitors and a powerful run by Craig Tennant saw the player’s break stopped short but patient build up saw Jordan Griffiths finishing off wide out.Tondu enjoying a bit of possession were rewarded with a try of their own when flanker Marc Ellis powered over.The score did little to knock Glynneath out of their stride and they hit back with a third try this time by Owen  Nesbitt saw the players strength saw him break tackles to stretch out for the line.Leading 15-8 at the break Glynneath kept up the tempo in the second half Jack O’Reilly tiring over a penalty  and then  Tondu buckled under pressure conceding a penalty try.Alex Burton added a fifth try with Jack O’Reilly converting.Craig Tennant who was having an outstanding game went over for Glynneath’s sixth try and with Jack O’Reilly adding the extras to finish off a satisfactory afternoon.Glynneath supporters were amazed at with the rugby that Tondu played it made a mockery of their lowly position,but this young Glynneath outfit are playing with such pace and confidence they are proofing a difficult side to beat .Full Time Glynneath 39 Tondu 8
