Glynneath v Maesteg Celtic

Glynneath missed the chance to take an early lead when they lost a line out near the visitors line on their own throw in.Minutes later from  a line out further out they secured ball and a great drive by the forwards saw centre Jed O’Reilly take the ball and cut through the visitors defence ,side stepping the last defender to go over at the posts .Jack O’Reilly converting.Mathew Harris pulled three points back for Maesteg and they came more into the game with a few impressive passing movements that took great defensive work by Glynneath to keep their line intact.A clever chip and gather by Glynneath’s Brogan Lloyd saw himfind Jack O’Reilly in support and when he was stopped on the try line Captain James Parry was on his shoulder to finish off the move.O’Reilly converting.Glynneath then scored an excellent try ,starting in their own half ,a run by prop Adam Nation saw him side stepping and dummying his way into the visitors 22 and Jack O’Reilly who was denied a score earlier made no mistake ,finishing off a fine passage of play .Jack O’Reilly converting his own score.Glynneath made changes and Brogan Lloyd switching to full back set off on a powerful run up the middle of the field that nearly brought another Glynneath try.Glynneath enjoying plenty of possession but it was the visitors who were to score next, when Aaron Williams just squeezed in at the corner Glynneath secured the bonus point when from another flowing movement, second row Owen  Morgan went over wide out .Another excellent piece of play saw Aled Evans go over in the corner to finish off the scoring.
