Waunarlwydd v Glynneath

Glynneaths season got even better with a comprehensive win at Waunarlwydd . The way the home side started , it looked as if the visitors were in for a torrid afternoon but after some dogged defence ,Glynneath who were dominant in the scrum settled down , and spent most of the game in control .They spilled two early chances to cross the whitewash but were soon in the lead when after some slick handling ,Owen Nesbitt caught the home defence cold with a quickly taken tap penalty.Dylan Francis converting.Harry Morgan raced away for an interception try minutes later ,Francis adding the extra points .Glynneath were well on top and added a third try after an excellent break by Calum McFee saw prop Mike Hall pop up to finish the move . Dylan Francis keeping up his 100% goal kicking.Glynneath wasted no time in increasing their lead after the break ,scoring their bonus point try.If the Glynneath backs looked sharp ,the forwards were also enjoying an afternoon where their backing up and great hands produced another forwards score .Aled Davies with a great steal at the line out saw Craig Tennants storming run find Calum McFee who raced away to the posts .Dylan Francis again converting.Time and again the home defence was cut to ribbons by the high tempo game Glynneath were playing ,but when they did get into the Glynneath half ,a yellow card for the visitors still failed to see the Glynneath line breached. It was Glynneath who had the last word when wing Aled Evans snapped up a loose ball to go over .Jack O'Reilly converting to round off a good afternoon for Glynneath.
