Glynneath traveled to Skewen ,which hasn’t proved to be a happy hunting ground in the past ,hoping to come away with the spoils but saw victory snatched away from them in the closing minutes .It was Skewen who took the lead after a bright opening by the visitors with a tenth minute penalty by Andrew Busselli,with Skewen dominating the set pieces in the first forty minutes.Busselli increased his sides lead with a second penalty.Dylan Francis put his side level with a penalty and though Glynneath went close to crossing the line it was Skewen who scored the first try of the game when from a driving maul Jonathan Vaughn getting the touchdown.Glynneath went down to fourteen men but did well to keep their line intact.Glynneaths Jack O’Reilly fired over a penalty to put his side back in the game and his side was enjoying a lot more possession and territory after the restart.When it was Skewens side to lose a player to the bin Glynneath took advantage and Alex Burton cut through to the posts.Jack O’Reilly converting . When O’Reilly converted another penalty Glynneath supporters could only dream of a victory at this ground but it was snatched away from them when from another driving maul that proved a potent weapon in the first half saw them score their second try of the game by Harry Davies ,Busselli firing over an excellent touch line conversion to seal the win .Full time Skewen 18 Glynneath 16
