The students of Cardiff Met were only one point ahead at the break, 13-12, on a filthy night at Glynneath, but managed to score the only points of the second half to secure a 21-12 win After two early penalties had given the visitors the lead, Harri Morgan crossed for a try that was converted by Dylan Francis for the home side to edge them 7-6 ahead. Joe Williams then made things even better with a second try even though his side were playing up the slop and into the driving wind and rain. The atrocious weather played a huge part in proceedings and the students replied with a converted try just before the break and then extended their lead early in the second with a penalty. Then a second try completed the win.
