Glynneath continued their excellent start to the season with another thrilling victory over a very good Ystalyfera side at Abernant Park .Glynneath withstood early pressure where the visitors had the edge at scrum time but it was the home side who took the lead from a Jack O’Reilly penalty in the 20^th minute after applying  a good spell of pressure themselves.Steffan Castle exchanged penalties with Glynneath holding onto the slender lead.It was Castle who struck on halftime to see the teams go in level at the break .Glynneath came out for the second half wasting no time in regaining the lead with Jed O’Reilly went over in the corner.The conversion going just wide.After 65mins Glynneath increased their lead. Playing some great rugby Jed O’Reilly cut the visitors defence wide open to go over at the posts.Jack O’Reilly converting .Glynneath were rampant now and after an ankle tap on full back Rhodri Jones stopped a certain try and were denied a blatant Penalty try which astonishingly only resulted in a yellow card for Ystalyfera.O’Reilly slotting over the penalty.Glynneath wasted a few more try scoring chances but can be well pleased with the final result.Full time Glynneath 21  Ystalyfera 6
