Glynneath came up against a strong Pontypool side that showed why they are riding high in the Championship, and they were under pressure from the start and it told with Josh Hurly going over. At 33-0 down Glynneath looked on the ropes but a great turn around saw the visitors score three tries without reply. A great touchline run by young Adam Nation just failed to produce a try in the corner. Glynneaths Nathan Ace got the touchdown from a powerfull Glynneath drive. Then scrum half Ben Jones left the home defence wanting when he raced away for a try. To finish, Corey Jenkins scored a brilliant individual try converting his own score.
